Innovative tools to quantify global business trends
On May 18, 2024, the Nouri Business Development Society held a press conference in Hong Kong to officially release the "Nouri Business Insight Index" (NBDS Business Insight Index) to the world. The launch of this index marks the further improvement of the Institute's core competitiveness in the field of business research, and also provides global companies and investors with a new reference tool for business environment assessment.
Novaris Business Insight Index is a multi-dimensional and dynamic business environment assessment index system, covering the following six core dimensions:
- Market Vitality Index:Measure the degree of market competition, innovation activity and consumption growth potential of each economy.
- Policy environment index:Evaluate the stability of business policies, the level of trade facilitation and the strength of intellectual property protection.
- Digital readiness index:Reflects the level of digital infrastructure construction, enterprise digital adoption rate and digital talent reserve status.
- Sustainability Index:Measure the perfection of the ESG policy framework, the level of green finance development and corporate social responsibility practices.
- Supply Chain Resilience Index:Assess supply chain diversification, logistics efficiency and emergency response capabilities.
- Talent and Innovation Index:Reflects the quality of higher education, the level of R&D investment and the maturity of the innovation ecosystem.
Data sources and methodology
The compilation of the index is based on the data collection and analysis system independently developed by the society, integrating data resources from multiple authoritative channels such as international organizations, national government statistical agencies, and industry associations. The research team uses scientific methods such as analytic hierarchy process and principal component analysis to determine the weight of each indicator to ensure the objectivity and comparability of the index. The index will be updated quarterly and provide an annual comprehensive assessment report.
The society said that the Nouri Business Insight Index will open basic data query functions to the public free of charge, and at the same time provide customized in-depth analysis services for enterprise users.
