Information Center Updated for Clearer Structure and Bilingual Maintenance
The NBDS Information Center has recently been updated to improve content structure and bilingual maintenance. The existing CMS architecture, category management, and article model remain unchanged. The work focuses on clearer editorial boundaries, a more continuous publishing rhythm, and better consistency between Chinese and English content.
Three sections with distinct roles
- News: institutional press releases, research publication updates, and industry observations supported by identifiable sources.
- Society Updates: work arrangements, research progress, member exchange, and content-maintenance information.
- Society Activities: forums, briefings, salons, workshops, and output exchanges presented through a dedicated activity model with formal detail pages.
A single event may generate different forms of information without duplicating the same article. The activity page can provide the complete programme, a Society Update can explain participation arrangements, and a public-facing News article can summarise the event afterwards.
One factual basis for both languages
New articles will maintain Chinese and English titles, summaries, and full text together. English versions will be natural, professional, and concise. Sentences may be reorganised for English readers, but the underlying facts will not change, and no people, organisations, honours, or figures will be added beyond the Chinese source.
A steady and restrained publishing rhythm
The Information Center will continue to update in line with genuine activities, research outputs, and public materials. The website will not invent external media coverage or partnerships merely to create a higher publishing frequency. Where external materials are used, the original issuing body and source will be identified. Published articles will follow the relevant content timeline, with links, pagination, and mobile display checked as part of routine maintenance.
