On June 20, 2025, the first NBDS Annual Business Development Forum was held both online and offline. Researchers and practitioners from many countries participated in in-depth exchanges around the theme of "Business Resilience and Innovation in an Era of Change".

The forum featured keynote speeches, roundtable dialogues, thematic workshops and other sessions. Experts from manufacturing, technology, finance, consulting and other industries shared their research findings and practical experience. The discussions focused on how companies can build resilience systems and drive innovative growth amid global economic uncertainty, producing several points of consensus.

During the forum, the Society arranged a Novaris Global Excellence Award system introduction and outstanding case sharing session, explaining the award categories, review criteria, application process and annual schedule. The Society clarified that the annual Novaris Global Excellence Award ceremony is fixed in December each year and remains separate from the Annual Business Development Forum held in June.

The Society stated that the Annual Forum will be held every June as a standing brand event, focusing on academic exchange, industry dialogue and research dissemination. The Novaris Global Excellence Award follows an independent review cycle and completes its annual recognition in December each year.
