In order to continue to optimize the member service experience, the Society will complete the annual update of the member rights system in the first quarter of 2026. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Rights update content

• Newly added "Research Express" push service - monthly summaries of the society's latest research developments are pushed to senior members and above
• Newly added "consultant direct access" benefit - honorary members can directly make appointments for one-on-one communication with specially invited consultants
• Optimize the "event priority" mechanism - senior members can enjoy a 7-day advance registration period when registering for offline events
• Upgraded electronic membership certificate - the new version of the certificate adds a QR code verification function

2. Renewal process

Existing members do not need to perform additional operations, and the system will automatically complete annual renewal confirmation in January 2026. If your contact information changes, please notify the Member Services Department (contact@nbds.org.cn) by email before December 31, 2025 for updates.

3. Special instructions

Members who have not participated in any society activities for two consecutive years and have not completed annual confirmation will have their qualifications turned into dormant status. If you need to restore, please contact the Secretariat.
